Trend Development and Construction Company Limited was founded on March 05, 2007 by Donovan Vassell(Managing Director). Although the company is listed as a sole proprietorship, we are supported by a team of leading industry experts to ensure the overall satisfaction of our clients.
Trend has completed several large scale projects where we have provided a complete suite of services to our customers ranging from design through to construction. We have made it our business to help people achieve their dreams while keeping their budget in mind. This is why placing the keys to a new home or business into the palm of our clients continues to bring us the utmost pleasure.

Team TREND
Donovan Vassell
Managing Director
Donovan Vassell boast an illustrious career spanning over 35 years of expertise in Architecture and 25 years of hands-on experience in construction development.
He commence his strategic move by acquiring certification from the New York Institute of Technology with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture. Mr. Vassel went on to deliver some key residential and commercial projects which include: renovating of Hi-Lo Portmore and Liguanea, building of Mary Seacole School of Nursing UWI; Phoenix Central; Sonoma Housing Complex, designing and building of Turnberry Townhouse Complex and Sapphire Apartment Complex.
His professional peers has continuously commended him for his excellent grasp and utilization of project management best practices to negotiate contracts, maintain cost, scope, and schedule on his initiatives.
Driven by the simple mantra of exceeding customer expectation every time, Mr. Vassell has serged strategic partnerships with key industry players Charles Green P.E.- Engineer, E.H. Williams and Associates - Land Surveys and Christopher Hugh Tucker - Accountant in keeping the TREND vision alive
Shelly Ann LLand
Administration
Shelly Ann joined the TREND team in 2018 as the Administrative Assistant bringing a wealth of experience in client service, accounting, and contract project acumen. In this capacity, she acts as the primary contact between the management team, clients and vendors.
She is a graduate of the University of West Indies with a Bachelors of Science degree in Public Administration and a Certificate in Management Studies.
The TREND team is appreciative of her continuous contribution in prioritizing and completing tasks independently with a high level of confidentiality.
